• session — Keeps you logged in to your SHOTT account on the web if a web login is offered. Session-scoped; deleted when you close the browser.
• csrf_token — Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks. Session-scoped.

Preference cookies

These remember choices you make so you don't have to repeat them on every visit.

• cookie_consent — Records whether you have accepted or declined optional cookies. Expires after 12 months.
• theme — Remembers your display preference if we offer a light/dark mode toggle. Expires after 12 months.

Analytics cookies

We use minimal, privacy-preserving analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns — how many people visit, which pages are popular, and where visitors come from. We do not use Google Analytics or any advertising-linked analytics platform.

These cookies do not track you across other websites and are not linked to your SHOTT account.

• _analytics_session — Anonymous page view counter. Session-scoped.

Cookies we do not use

We do not use:

• Advertising or retargeting cookies
• Third-party tracking pixels (Facebook, Google Ads, etc.)
• Fingerprinting or cross-site tracking of any kind

• Block all cookies or cookies from specific sites
• Set preferences per cookie type

Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent some parts of the website from working. Blocking preference or analytics cookies has no effect on core functionality.

The iOS app

The SHOTT iOS app does not use browser cookies. It stores session tokens securely in the iOS Keychain and uses local data in app-sandboxed storage. None of this data is accessible to other apps or shared with advertisers.

We will update this page when we make material changes to our cookie use. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any revisions.
